Triptonikhan - Toxicana Turnpike

Awesome fully electronic album. Rockin' beats, super effects, vocals off of some movie or something. Hardcore, if you will. Gotta listen to it loud and proud, and while tripping too. It's free, check them out.

喜多郎 - 空海の旅~Sacred Journey of ku-kai~

New Age music over classical Japanese flute and drums. Pretty ambient sounding, reminds me of Deep Forest, but contained within Japan. Try to give it a listen once in a while.

Wavves - King of the Beach

These guys like the beach. And pot. And beach-rock music. Upbeat, summer time music. I was gonna go see them, but couldn't. So sad I didn't, but hey, I got the album, right?

Broken Bells - Broken Bells

I'll be surprised if you haven't heard these guys before. A combination of James Mercer (of The Shins) and Danger Mouse. Actually listened to the first song on an itunes discovery download thing, then I read a review about it in Time magazine, then I started hearing it everywhere, so I decided to buy it. It's an instantaneous classic in my case, pick it up to find out.

Movere Workshop - Western Hamlet

Picked this one up at the record store, is pretty awesome. Electronic Ambient Rock. One of the least known bands I know, can't really find much about them on the internet (basically my only resource), but apparently it features future members of Wilco, Kingsbury Manx, and Wild Wild Geese. I am going to listen to this record quiet a bit, I know it. Wish I could find a digital version.
